Protect 1207i 2G & 3G GSM detector heeft naast een groot sweep bereik voor radio frequentie draadloze camera's en afluister-apparatuur als een van de weinige apparaten de mogelijkheid 3G signalen te detecteren. Nu steeds meer afluisterapparatuur op basis van GSM techniek werkt en nu nog veelal gebruik maaktvan het normale 2G netwerk is het met dit detectie apparaat tevens mogelijk 3G activiteit van bijvoorbeeld een smart-phone of internet dongel te detecteren!

De nieuwe smart-phones zoals de Iphone en de internet dongels voor draadloos internet werken op basis van het 3G netwerk, hoewel nog geen GSM afluister zender gebruik maakt en naar verwachting niet zal maken van 3G. Buiten het scannen naar een 3G activiteit kan deze afluisterapparatuur detector ook andere afluisterapparatuur en zenders opsporen zoals onze andere bug detectors.

Het ant-afluister systeem kan draadloze verbogen camera's, GSM zendertjes en andere afluisterapparatuur opsporen. Alleen voor detectie van camera's en afluister systemen die een 'signaal' verzenden (wireless / GSM).

Dit systeem ondersteunt ook het opsporen van Wifi en Bluetooth signalen.
